Anyone else out there see a red light as an angry face glaring at you, a green light as a smile welcoming you forward, and a yellow light as a scrunched up nose getting ready to be angry?

No, but my aunt suggested that the bus coming was a big, friendly face, and I've had that image ever since.

Yes, I have seen the stoplight in exactly that way. I see faces in nonfacial signals: http://elainetyger.livejournal.com/104801.html

And I get confused by the walking countdown on the light by the train station, because even though the person is lit in white, the numbers are a reddish-orange, which to me is a warning not to go.
