Timely phonetic deletion

The intersection of the sets of friends who will actually get this is probably quite small, but I can't resist.

PHONETIC DELETION (3 4, ה)
(Surprisingly, 3 4 is not M-W although a similar phrase is 11-C findable)
(ה is ^ and not M-W)

The people were lawless,
So God sent the HEH.
(The THREE FOUR was too much
Back in Noah's day).

[Edited to add: I should clarify on the enumeration: The transliteration of the Hebrew word has five letters, but the word in Hebrew has four.]

"Mabul"? I'm trying to Google frantically and getting nowhere. And now I suppose I won't learn until after sundown on Saturday.

...ohhhhh, I see. (3 4 is findable, in fact, under "ochlocracy", which isn't quite Enigma-legal as "findable", since I think that has to mean "you'd find it if you looked in the sensible place for it", e.g. "Grinch" capitalized can be found in the etymology for "grinch" lowercase, which is an entry.)

Interesting. So why didn't it show when I tried a "definition" search online?

And I thought "findable" meant just that --- wasn't there a flat in recent memory where an "NI-2 findable" sol was the name of one of the special editors whose photo is in the front matter?

Yes: mob rule, mabul
