Books read this weekend

Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer. I don't think I'd have made it through the novel if I hadn't just seen the movie. And I don't know whether I enjoyed it. But it was thought-provoking. I'll probably post more about it later this week, once it's had a chance to settle.

Harry Potter and the Final Seven Hundred Pages by J. K. Rowling. 'Nuff said. (Although I feel like I should be posting my time, like we sometimes do with the crossword puzzle. :-)

I read _Everything is Illuminated_ and disliked it (except for the Russian guy's funny English). I'm glad I gave [Safran] Foer another chance, because I really liked _Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close_.

All this talk about HP spoilers, and I figure I won't have time to finish reading the series until I retire, and by then I will have forgotten all the spoilers. I think posting your time would be in the spirit of the whole thing.
