Since someone asked me via email, I thought I'd re-post the information about when we're planning to see The Drowsy Chaperone:

Wed. Apr. 23 in Boston, front row balcony on the aisle (P-1,3,5,7), with introverte, mabfan, and gnomi. If anyone else wants to come that night and sit near us, you'll have to make your own arrangements (that's why I gave our seat numbers) --- and we hope you will!

What more do you need for an evening's entertainment?

I bought the sheet music for The Drowsy Chaperone from Amazon, and it came on Friday. I've started learning to play "Show Off" and "I Do, I Do in the Sky." I'm getting a lot of pleasure from that. For the first time in years, I'm hoping to learn a piano piece well enough to play at parties.

I think I need a Drowsy userpic. Of course, that would require getting a paid account so I'd have room for more userpics. Maybe I'm not that much of a drooling fanboy. Maybe.

A co-worker saw The Drowsy Chaperone last weekend, and he bought the vinyl album. We lent one another our CDs today so each could hear what's on the other recording, and ( here's my report )

So, in sum, I'm glad I got a chance to compare the two, but I'm not going to spend $50 on the novelty souvenir when the regular CD includes my favorite character, the Man in Chair. What more do you need for an evening's entertainment?
