New song: Lechu Nerannenah
Dec. 11th, 2007 03:31 pmAfter cleaning up Lecha Dodi, I got an irresistible idea for Lechu Nerannenah (Psalm 95), which opens the Kabbalat Shabbat ("Welcoming the Sabbath") service. The first draft is up as an MP3 and a PDF score. This arrangement is a cappella SSATBB (plus tenor solist to chant the traditional melody for the first line as an introduction) and covers Ps. 95 vv. 1-6.
