Social Networking
Mar. 2nd, 2009 12:51 pmSo, in preparation for my upcoming birthday, I've been madly scanning in lots of old photos. (And thanks to
oma_greene for scanning lots of older pictures that she and Dad have!) And I've been uploading some of them to Facebook as I go.
And the amazing thing is that when I tag one or two people in a group shot from high school, it snowballs --- they tag others, and suggest friending them, and literally within an hour I have reconnected with two or three people I haven't spoken to since graduation.
These reconnections are a wonderful birthday present in themselves, and provide an immediate payoff to this project of revisiting my past.
(And all my photo albums are public, so if you're curious about what I looked like as a kid, just visit my Facebook profile.)
