Oct. 26th, 2008 03:00 pmTani decided he was ready to give up the training wheels on his bike. After a few rounds up and down the sidewalk, and then around the block, we decided to celebrate by all four of us biking to Starbucks (a little over a mile) for overpriced chocolate milk. Most of the way there, he kept saying "I can't do this!" while doing it. We took the scenic route back --- part of which meant he could ride in the street, instead of on the narrow sidewalk, which meant far fewer fence- and hedge-related interruptions :-) and he had no troubles at all. Whoo-hoo!
