NYT confirms: Boston is the Hub of the Universe

Today's NYT has a special auxilliary magazine section called "Key" which is about real estate. The cover image is a network of cities, with some of the interconnecting lines brighter than the others, forming the shape of a key. At the center of the keyhead is "Boston". I'm curious --- did they regionalize this? Do NYC residents see New York at the center?
