For many years, when I worked at Bitstream/Pageflex, I'd walk to the MIT sukkah for lunch during chol ha-moed. Most of the time, one or more of my friends from work would join me, and I'd often meet up with other Cambridge-area friends there as well. I miss you guys, and I miss our sukkot lunches together.

This year, I'm working in Newton, about 3 miles from home. Because I had been sick on Wednesday, I worked from home yesterday, so that doesn't count, but today I'm planning to pop home for lunch with [livejournal.com profile] introverte in our sukkah. But I did notice to my surprise as I came in to work this morning that there is a sukkah on the campus of Lasell College, a few blocks from here. Perhaps I will avail myself of it on Monday, or perhaps I'll go home for lunch again. It's nice to have choices.

Next year, our office will be in Waltham, a bit farther from home. Will I pop home for lunch? Will I work mornings from home? Or will I find out about the sukkah options at Brandeis? Tune in next year....
