Feb. 22nd, 2007 10:52 pmTook the kids to the NY Hall of Science today. Fun place. After that, we took a chance on Grill Point for lunch (Main St. and Jewel Ave.) It looks like a felafel joint from the outside but it was pretty crowded so we figured we'd try it. Turns out they have a sit-down section in the rear and the food was excellent and reasonably priced.
Tonight H and I went in to the city and tried to get rush tickets for Drowsy Chaperone. You enter your name in a lottery at 6:30, and at 7:00 they announce how many rush tickets they have and they draw names. Each person is allowed to buy 1 or 2 seats at $25. The good news is they called my name, the bad news is that just before that they announced that they had only one ticket left, so if you wanted two it was too late. Oh, well.
So we went over to Le Marais for dinner. They had been slipping in quality, but tonight they were back to their old selves. I had the steak au poivre, H had the tournedos, and we each had a warm chocolate cake for dessert. Yum.
