Kids and wordplay

Alissa came up with a decent flat base the other day while on the swingset next door: "I'm a bird! I can fly! But I don't have real wings --- the swing's my wings! Hey, swing's/wings -- they rhyme! They're almost the same word, except one begins with 's' and the other doesn't!"

And this morning as I was dropping him off at school, Tani asked: Abba, you know how when you're frustrated you sometimes say "Aw, Geez"? Do Christians say "Aw, Gah"?

I never said "Geez" or "Jesus" until I went to college because I didn't have many Christians for friends before that. I'm glad you're teaching your children early! ;{)}
