I read The Documents in the Case over the past few days. An interesting exercise in epistolary writing, but a bit overdone. Worth reading if you're a Sayers fan, but not up to the Wimsey stories.

Hear hear. I picked up a copy maybe ten-fifteen years ago, thinking it was a PW story (*&^%$# deceptive cover designers!). I was disappointed.

Enh, I read it anyway, when I was on a Sayers-completist kick. But, yeah, there's only so much I can care about mushrooms.

I thought it was rather good fun, if a bit heavy on the philosophical side. I'm reading Murder Must Advertise now for the zillionth time. Yay.
