Sometimes, it feels like a village
Jul. 19th, 2007 10:42 amWe went out for ice cream last night with
cellio, and while we were standing on the sidewalk outside J.P.Licks we were passed by and greeted (1) the mother of one of Tani's classmates, and (2) one of my Zamir friends who recorded Dad's Boat last week with his wife and daughter. It's so nice to live in a place where that kind of random social interaction is common.
It was also extremely gratifying that Martin told me that he and his wife have been emailing links to the recording of Dad's Boat to lots of people and getting positive feedback. I've got to finish the mixdown and "officially" release the song -- and keep the momentum going on finishing writing and recording the album.
