rhuIt seems that not only was Noah Feldman's anecdote about being cropped out of the Maimonides reunion photo not true*, but both he and the editors at the NYTimes Magazine knew it was not true before they published his article.
* - He, his girlfriend, and about a dozen other people were out of the frame because there were too many people there and the photographer couldn't fit them all into one shot.
