rhuThe NYTimes blogs about Ann Coulter today. Apparently, she said "we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say.... That's what Christianity is." And lots of people are getting upset about this.
Forgive me for failing to be upset. That sounds like a pretty fair summary of supersessionism, which is one of the basic tenets of Christianity. Yawn. I'm no more offended by Ann Coulter spouting such nonsense than I am by some of the patronizing statements that have come out of the Vatican since Nostra Aetate.
