I hate dealing with snow. I got Tani to school about 15 minutes late, instead of 10 minutes early. Since it was my fault, not his, I stayed for a while as I usually do, so I left JCDS at 8:30. One of my headlights was out, so I stopped off at Sullivan Tire and Auto Service and they said they could do it but it would be about an hour since they didn't have a tech ready at that moment, since I'm about due for a tire roation anyway I told 'em I'd leave the car and take the bus in. The bus arrived and I discovered that I never put my Charlie Card back in my wallet after we got back from DE, so I had to pay by cash and get a Charlie Ticket; the driver said I could use it to transfer to the subway but it turns out that's not correct, so I had to get a new Charlie Card and load it up when I got to Central Square. So here it is, 10:00, and I'm finally at work.

Not a good start to the day.

I'm glad I don't have to drive to work in the snow anymore, but I still don't enjoy walking in it.

It was the day for overspending on mass transit. I took my Metrocard out of my pocket to add to the $4 or so remaining on it, and dropped it into a foul puddle right in front of the machine (as I moved away from whatever was dripping on my head). I bought a new one, and someone less squeamish than I probably acquired a holiday gift.
