Dec. 13th, 2007 07:23 pmI don't want to be one of those parents who restrains the kids from doing fun stuff lest they damage something, but tonight I discovered that middle C on my grandmother's 1912 Knabe piano has turned pink. The kind of pink that rubs off from red-marker-stained fingers. :-(
Gentle rubbing with a damp soft cloth seems to have removed most of the stain. And we had a serious talk with the kids about washing their hands really well and drying them before playing the piano. But still....
