Last week's Newton Tab had a recipe for chocolate pots de creme that looked really simple and wonderful, so we decided to make it yesterday when

To accompany the pots de creme, we made a minestrone. I love soup weather.
And since the pots de creme called for six egg yolks, and since we were planning to serve fleishigs tonight, I used the egg whites to make pareve chocolate meringue cookies.
Then today I succumbed to a really bad cold and spent the day asleep in bed. We ended up canceling the playdate we had planned with
