Different in that it's not pretending to be meat. I have found that when veggies pretend to be meat they usually fail miserably, but when they revel it their vegetability they usually shine.
Interesting -- I have the "southwestern style" version in my freezer but haven't yet tried them. Your liking the teriyaki ones bodes well, since I got into their "steak" strips on your recommendation.
Thanks for the tip. I, too, prefer veggie options that revel in their veggie-ness instead of trying to fake meat. (I have not yet forgotten bacon. I have not yet encountered a good imitation.)
