Mar. 9th, 2008 09:24 amA few weeks back, Alissa asked "How do you spell 'chicken'?" and, a few moments later, "How do you spell 'allowed'?" and, finally, "May I please have some tape please?"* Next thing we knew, there was a sign on our back door:
So that night, I asked her about it. "Why did you make that sign?"
"Because I didn't want any chickens to come into our house while were asleep and peck at us. That would hurt."
And it seems to have worked. We haven't had any chickens break into our house!
