So I get into the elevator wearing my bright green Purim wig. There's a bald gentleman in the elevator already, and he smiles as I board. As we're getting off the elevator, he says in an Israeli accent: "I should have worn my wig." (Pause) "But my wife wouldn't let me."

One of Tani's classmates is dressed as Katisha, and she looks amazing. The Head of School is dressed as Dumbledore, but she promised us she wouldn't rename the school Hogwarts. I suggested "Morningstar Farms Warts."

A quick Google and Wikipedia search has been unable to locate a satisfactory answer to this question:

Both Passover and Easter are scheduled based on the 19-year Metonic cycle. In some years, such as this one, however, Judaism intercalates the extra month one year before the Western Church does, resulting in Easter and Passover not coinciding. What is the nature of the difference in calculation, when was that difference introduced, and why?
