Dafcast.net is ready for testing
Aug. 1st, 2008 11:42 amAs I mentioned in a friends-locked post last week, I've been putting together a web site to coordinate a translation of the Babylonian Talmud. The functionality is now to the point where I can start having real users, and since it would be inappropriate to launch such a venture during the Nine Days, I hereby declare dafcast.net ready for signups!
But it's going to be a "soft" launch. If you're interested in the project, please sign up for an account and start trying out the site. Send me bug reports. Reserve a daf and start working on a translation. But please don't circulate the link too widely yet; I'm not quite ready for my thousand volunteers. :-)
That URL again is http://dafcast.net
