Mozart

I went to hear my friend and former co-worker Jeff sing in a concert of Mozart last night. He did a fine job, especially with the Dona nobis pacem of the Agnus Dei in the Coronation Mass. And it was a delight to sit in the audience for a choral-orchestral concert; I can't remember when the last time was that I did that. There were several moments during the evening that achieved that transcendent beauty that is only possible in a live performance.

Afterwards, Jeff and I got a chance to catch up, which was also delightful.
