P&A meta solution submitted!

Total of about 9 hours over three days. Solved Kerry, Kidd, Milk, Post, Price, Ridge, Linkletter, Sharp, Turner, and White. Guessed at Baker and House from the meta alone. Got most of the way through O'Connolly but still have no idea what the last step is, but was able to guess it from the meta. Got all the pieces of Reade, but have no idea what the last step is, and haven't yet backsolved. No clue on Parker.

Will post a more detailed solving report in a few days, once spoilers are less of an issue.

Oh, what a shame--I liked Parker! (I also have a program to solve criss-crosses for me, complete with reading a jpeg of the grid.)

I'm not giving up on it, I just didn't need it to solve the meta and although I've been staring at it, and I have a few ideas of what the list could be, I don't have enough faith in any of my ideas to start penciling stuff in yet.

I need to get a suite of puzzle-solving tools together before January. (We made our hotel reservations last night.)
