Today's xkcd is about Mathnet.

Hey, I thought Randall was much younger than me. How does he know Mathnet?

Oh, right, I watched it in college. Because that's the kind of nerd I am.

I watched it in high school. It's actually a bit weird to think of people watching it as kids.

Ever watch Numb3rs? It's Mathnet for adults!

Why would I want to watch something for adults? :-)

I watched it in either junior high or high school. To this day, "Fibonacci" makes me think "1, 1, 2, 3, 5, Eureka!"

I'm apparently young enough not to have heard of it. I did use the Fibonacci code as a mnemonic for a security password at a job once, though, so hopefully that balances out my nerd cred a bit.

Hey, maybe that means I'm young too, since I hadn't heard of it either! That'd be cool.

The Kate Monday vs. Pat Tuesday debate rages on.

I'm a fan of Beverly Leech, so I always preferred Kate Monday. But having grown up in NYC, I enjoyed seeing the show move there even though they replaced Kate with Pat. Decisions...

Too bad Randall wasn't in a position to watch the Walter Lewin 8.01/8.02 help videos on MIT cable. Could have gotten some good strips out of those :).
