Oops. When I posted my poem the other day I'd forgotten one of the rules of double-dactyls. (It's bad enough that I have to compromise on the second line.) Here's my revision:

Higgledy-Piggledy.
Miriam Kamens was
Going to horse camp. Of
That she was sure.

CLEarly, those dumBOS who,
Uncomprehendingly,
Run Continental knew
Not where they flEW 'R.

Why the stress of BOS? Shouldn't it be
CLEarly those DUMbos who,
...

Or am I missing something?

Those aren't stress indicators. They're airport codes.

Hey, why invent a new insult and use:

Higgledy-Piggledy.
Miriam Kamens was
Going to horse camp. Of
That she was sure.

CLEarly, those BOSons who,
Uncomprehendingly,
Run Continental knew
Not where they flEW 'R.

Of course, that should read

Hey, why *not* invent a new insult...

Hump-a-na Dump-a Na-
Thaniel Ephraim's dad
liked to write poems with
strict rules for stress

Characteristically,
Rivkie's dad read them and
looked up the structure and
was quite impressed.
