MORE ___

OK, this earworm has been driving me nuts for weeks.

There's some bit of popular culture -- perhaps a Monty Python sketch; in my head I hear it with a British accent -- in which the punch line is "MORE ____". I'm not sure if that's a response to a rhetorical question or if it's the end of some sort of litany.

I know that's not a lot to go on, but I figure one of you will come up with the right answer. What the hell am I thinking of?

There's an SNL skit about "more cowbell", but I doubt that's in your brainspace ....

Um, from Oliver? "May I have some more, please?" "More?!?!?!?"

As in "MORE BEANS" or "MORE MOTORCYCLES" or whatever?

Is it the witch-burning scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail? From memory, it's something like:

SIR BEDIVERE: And what else do we burn besides witches?
ERIC IDLE, IN THE ANGRY MOB: More witches!!!

Ah, I was going to guess that it was in fact MORE BEANS. Delivered in a fake British accent, of course, by Terry Gilliam.

Hence the nom I'd settled on back when I thought I might join the NPL: Siri, which is an acronym for Source of Intermittently Relevant Information. :)

My first thought was "More sugar!" from Firesign Theater, but I guess I lose this episode of Match Game.

I immediately thought of "More Tea, Vicar?" and I have no idea what that means.

Now I'm mentally conflating it with "NO POOFTERS!" in the Bruces sketch that leads up to the Philosopher's Drinking Song. :-)
