rhuA friend gave me the cast recording of the new Sweeney Todd for my birthday. I had been afraid to buy it, because the production was of such a piece that I figured having only the music would disappoint.
It does not disappoint. Both the clarity of the musical lines and the clarity of diction are amazing.
