Nit-picking
May. 30th, 2006 04:49 pmLast night, I watched the first episode of PBS Kids' Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman with my kids. Overall, a cool show -- it's a "reality" game show with an animated dog as the host. In the first episode, one team had to find all the planet models from the Boston Museum of Science scale model of the solar system---so they were in places we all know, like our local T stop.
But at one point, Ruff Ruffman refered to an LOC call number as "the Dewey Decimal System." Now, if this were Project Runway I could forgive such a gaffe. But a PBS show aimed at teaching kids ought to know the difference.
Needless to say, I fired off a complaint.
