rhuWe watched Fantasia with the kids for the first time tonight. And after Leopold Stokowski was introduced, Tani said to me, "Oh, I bet they named Leo [a character on Disney's Little Einsteins who loves to conduct] after this Leopold." Well, duh, I suppose they must have!
(The other amazing moment was when they introduced the segment with Beethoven's Sixth Symphony, and Tani piped up, "Oooh.... We studied that in music class --- that's the one with the storm in the middle!" It's nice to know that even if I'm falling down on my responsibility to introduce my kids to the warhorses, school is picking up the slack.)
