NYTimes applet... getting better

Still frustrated by some poor UI decisions on the part of the applet designers --- what I'd prefer is the "current clue" on top (regardless of whether I was solving across or down), followed by the "next" clue (so you can think about clue B while typing the answer to clue A) and then the crossing clues underneath (For example, for 45A in today's puzzle the crossing clues are, in order, 40D 46D 30D 31D 35D). That makes it faster to check one's answer without taking one's hands off the keyboard.
