The baking is done

rhuThose of you who have dined at our house for holidays past will understand:
The Zwetchgenküchen and Apfel-Nudel Scharlet are done. Neither went perfectly smoothly this year, but I think they both came out well. We'll find out Tuesday night. (I ran a little short on zwetchgen, and the apple peeler-corer-slicer broke as we were getting started so we had to do it all with other tools, which threw off the timing on the noodles.)
But it is definitely feeling like the holidays are upon us.
