They're replacing the access control unit for the garage at work, which is good because my drivers-side window is still frozen shut from last weekend's storm and they're just waving us through.

introverte has jury duty today, but Alissa seems a little confused on the name. She announced to her nursery-school teacher this morning that I had to drop her off "because Mama has [very serious face here] surgery today."

Every time I listen to the Drowsy Chaperone soundtrack I notice something new.

I started the process of switching our source-code repository at work from CVS to Subversion, which uses svn as the prefix for all its commands. I wish they'd chosen a name typed with the right hand; as one person had warned me, one of the hardest parts about switching is that every time I'm supposed to type svn my muscle memory makes me type cvs instead.

It's cold out.

You could try switching your keyboard to Dvorak layout, then "svn" is entirely on the right hand. :-)
(So is "cvs", though. I made the same mistake when switching.)

ksh/zsh/bash family:

alias cvs=svn

?

(If you really need cvs, you can always \cvs...)
