rhuI'll just note that I find the Google-heavy research phases of certain puzzles to be unrewarding.
So far, I have solved Nibbling Cuspids and Nickleye Corporation. For Netherworldly Chemistry I have an answer that has got to be correct but that's based only on the left half. I'm one step away (I think) from solving Nefarious Chants, New Chapter, Nightmare Cadillac, and Naked Cruise. (That is, for each of those puzzles, I have a complete solution to the obvious bits but I haven't figured out how to extract the answer phrase.)
Of those puzzles, my Mystery Hunt cheat sheet has helped with Nickleye and Naked Cruise.
And I'm leaving comments enabled for the general topic of Google-heavy research phases, but let's not talk about any specific puzzles yet.
