Family situation

rhuI have not been blogging about this in public, but at this point people need to know.
My father has been battling a leukemia-like condition, and then leukemia, for some time. It has now progressed to advanced leukemia and infiltrated all his major organs; he is not expected to survive the next day or so. He is being given morphine and is not in pain or discomfort, but he no longer seems to be aware of his surroundings.
I will post information here and on Facebook when there is more information to post. Heather and the kids are still in Boston, so even if he passes away tonight, the earliest the funeral could be would be Thursday.
