A brief question: Does everyone understand, generally, how I organize these LiveJournal messages?

Not obvious?

Please, everyone reply, sharing the (undoubtedly valuable) perspective of your expectations.

Do you mean how you tag them?

It hadn't even occurred to me that they ARE organized.

As I explain in today's post, this was actually a puzzle.

This reads like a puzzle (but maybe I'm biased by the sources :-)

I am confused by the question. Please clarify.

Also, how is it that I was able to edit tags on this message and give it the tag "ask lj"?

I don't know. I was wondering where that came from.

It was showing me an "Edit Tags" link, and I thought perhaps this was a puzzle of yours and that was a clue for me to do something. Feel free to remove it.

I know which icons you use for which topics, if that's what you mean. Otherwise I feel like I'm supposed to be seeing a puzzle here.

I know that in theory your posts are tagged, and every now and then I've managed to figure out how to search for something when I remember that you posted about something (usually about the siddur; but I do it rarely enough that I need to figure it out each time), but in general I just read them when they come out...

I haven't ever really noticed any particular organization. Most of your posts are about a single subject, or a group of related things. You don't go crazy with tagging. You use a few different icons on your posts and I suppose those are meant to categorize them, but the only ones I really recall are the one used here, your nom-icon, which seems to be the default one, and another one you use on posts about your religious practices.

Experience has shown, and a true philosophy will always show, that a vast, perhaps the larger portion of the truth arises from the seemingly irrelevant.

You were on the right track, but you're looking out the wrong side of the train.
