I'm about halfway through Governor Clinton's crossword puzzle, and I'll just say: The Times should run more "gentle cryptics" like this --- with more variety in the wordplay (not just homophones, beheadments, and curtailments) but not as bizarre as the "Puns and Anagrams" puzzles (which I enjoyed when I was younger, but now the lack of formal tagging irks me).
