Simple pleasures

Getting a bagel that I saw taken from the oven moments before, almost burning my fingers as I eat it in the crisp autumn air. Almost made me feel like I was back in New York.

That's why I said "almost" --- although Rosenfeld's Bagels, here in Newton, comes pretty darned close....
