I am an alumni, and so can you

On my way in to work this morning I stopped off at the MIT Card office in the basement of W20 and got an MIT Alumni Card. (I guess that makes me an "alumni".) I figure it might come in useful in a few weeks.

It made me think back to 20 years ago when they took our pictures for our meal services card, and we could borrow a stuffed Opus the Penguin doll to perch on our shoulder when they took the picture. ID cards had a sense of humor back then.

The ID card folks can be pretty cool. We got an ID card for Iggy, our office iguana, many years ago....
