Why is it that just about all the Israeli music I have in my collection was written before 1978? Did they stop writing great songs after that?

What songs should I be listening to?

Hey, I just found this program, "Songs Every Israeli Knows."

Full disclaimer, I haven't listened to it yet, but he lists a wider variety of artists than what I have above...
