NYT puzzles

Friday at work, I mused aloud that the NYT Friday and Saturday puzzles have given me more trouble than usual lately, and I was wondering if they were getting harder or if I was getting stupider. Then came Patrick Berry's puzzle in yesterday's Times, and I don't want to know anyone else's time because I broke 15 minutes on a Saturday and I don't want you to tell me that it was easy. :-)
And finally, a note on today's NYT diagramless. ( Spoiler )
