Kids say the darndest things
Jan. 10th, 2008 09:13 amThis morning Alissa wakes up and starts shouting for me. "Abba! Abba!" I come running down the hall to her room. "What is it, sweetie?" I ask. She smiles and says "Abba, I have to know: Why was there a revolutionary war?"
Later, Tani read the morning board at school. The first task was "Write one word describing MLK." Other kids were writing "brave," "nice," "smart." My son? "Dead."
