My first time writing in a candidate's name. (The only candidate in the Democratic primary for Registrar of Deeds for Middlesex County was allegedly caught on video stealing money from the state, and withdrew his candidacy after the deadline. So there are several people running write-in campaigns.)

My first time going to the polls when there was no one outside holding up a campaign sign. (I guess they figure if you know enough that you're aware that there's a primary today, you've already decided on for whom you're voting.)

In 2002, I wrote in Randall Forsberg against John Kerry; of course, I didn't think Forsberg would win, and I'm not all that sure I wanted her to, but it was a write-in all the same.

I frequently vote write-ins. It bothers me that so many candidates run unopposed around here. So typically, in uncontested elections I will write in random names, often names of friends.

So, shall I vote for you for anything? :-)
