Closing the loop: Solution to last week's puzzle

For those who still care about last week's puzzle, the mechanism is to look at the numerical value of each card and use it as an index into the suit:

1 of CLUBS      is C
3 of DIAMONDS   is A
4 of HEARTS     is R
7 of DIAMONDS   is D
1 of SPADES     is S

which spells "CARDS" --- and since that's what's shown in the picture, you'd have some sort of confirmation that the answer is correct.
