Artscroll misses the forest....

vettecat and
sdavido (about which more later) I saw the Artscroll 5769 desk planner. I was amused that in the list of features they indicate that the calendar includes both Jewish holidays and "secular red-letter days."
Amused because, of course, the term "red-letter day" is "so called from the practice of marking holy days in red letters in church calendars" [NI3].
I was further amused to note that Thanksgiving Day was so named, Dec. 25 was marked "Banks Closed", and Good Friday and Easter Sunday go by unremarked.
