I'm sorry I didn't really see you at Arisia; I did see you waving but responded belatedly. I met your son T at Fast Track and was very impressed. He was also very gracious about the baby girl stealing his abandoned mostly-finished sandwich.
My understanding of this issue is that there's some problem involving hash collisions, so that certain pairs of userpics just happen to randomly substitute themselves for each other sometimes. The workaround, if that's true, would be to replace the userpic with one that's been changed in some trivial, non-visible way, so that its hash value changes.
