Digsby?

Digsby looks interesting -- iirc, Mosayc recommended it at one point -- but I don't want to put my third-party passwords on their server. (Yes, I read their security thing about how they encrypt the third-party passwords with the hash of my Digsby password, but it's still asking for a level of trust that I'm not currently prepared to give them.)

Does anyone know if there's a variant on Digsby that uses a local database instead, or an equivalent product? I currently use Pidgin for IM, and am happy with it, but would like to try a system that also integrates my various email account notifications and social networking site updates.
