Over lunch we entered into a dispute over whether at the original Pesach they took maror. The Mishna מה בין פסח מצרים לפסח דורות in Pesachim 9 doesn't address this, neither do the Bavli or Yerushalmi there. Anyone know a source offhand?

I'm no scholar, but I'd imagine there was little maror, if any. So they were probably more-or-less marorless.

What about Exodus 12:8?

8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
