From the pages of Science News, the perfect bedtime story for a 5-year-old. (Seriously, it was just like a library book that we read over Shabbat except for two things: first, the book was fiction about a teenage intern at the "City Museum" while the article was non-fiction about a journalist; second, the article was better written and held my child's interest far more than the putatively aimed-at-children book.)
