Seeking an old Foxtrot
Nov. 3rd, 2006 02:15 pmOK, LJ brain trust, can you help?
I'm trying to find an old Foxtrot April 15 strip in which Roger says "Taxes are taxing and the cause of many heart attacks" -- I'm pretty sure it's in one of the books that I own, but I haven't found it yet. (We're redesigning the sales tax module for our software at work, and the design meetings are ONEROUS, WEARING. I thought it would be useful to have some ice-breaking humor for the next one.)
Can anyone find it? Book title and page number would be great. Amazon "search inside this book" probably won't find it. :-)

Date: 2006-11-04 02:01 am (UTC)If you have Foxtrot: The Works, it's on p. 166. If you have the "small" collections, it's probably early in Pass the Loot.
Weirdly enough, if you use Amazon's "search inside this book" for the larger collection and the term "taxes", you get p. 165. You would have to know which book to search and to check the next few pages -- I checked after I had found it in my paper copies -- but it's not far off. Clearly you need better faith in technology!
